Meagan Hanes is Technical Project Manager for Maintainn at WebDevStudios and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Informational Technology. Meagan is an artist at heart and collects colours and shapes to inspire her. As an artist, she understands the design psychology and marketing needs required for optimized web development.
As a prolific speaker, Meagan has taught on topics including learning HTML, how to choose plugins to extend your site, optimizing WordPress, maintaining your site, using staging sites, and more. She’s even been on panels about how to protect yourself in business as a freelancer.
When she isn’t volunteering at a WordPress event as an organizer or speaker, you can find Meagan mentoring women in tech in groups including Ladies Learning Code and CampTech, painting watercolours, baking dinosaur cookies, or even gardening.
