He started working with WordPress in 2011 as a sysadmin managing servers WordPress websites run on. In 2012, he started learning WordPress development. Since 2012, he’s been promoted from intern to Lead Software Engineer where he currently co-manages the day-to-day operations of the Mindgrub Web Team. During this time, he’s launched countless WordPress websites and managed the website and servers for high-profile websites such as those used during charity TV benefit concerts with audiences of 2 billion people.

  • Taylor Morgan

Taylor works as a web developer in Cincinnati, OH, where he lives with his wife and family. When not writing code, he can be found trying out new hobbies or rediscovering old ones with his four children. He loves the challenge of learning new things and the joy of being better at them than his kids.

He discovered web development over 20 years ago as a teenager, and it gradually morphed into a lifelong passion and full-time career. He loves developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, and has made some minor contributions to WordPress core. Exploring new technologies and techniques satisfies his inner need to learn new things, and writing good code feels just like a crossword puzzle to him. If it weren’t his career, it would still be his most loved hobby.
