We are thrilled to announce our first round of WordCamp US 2019 speakers. We will be revealing a different group of speakers every day this week.

  • Alain Schlesser

    Alain is a freelance software engineer and WordPress consultant living in Germany.

    He is the maintainer of WP-CLI, the command-line interface for WordPress and works on WordPress Core itself as a contributor and component maintainer.

    He offers higher-level consulting, code reviews and software design coaching, enabling companies to deal with frequent change and ever-growing complexity while optimizing for reduced maintenance effort and lower total cost of ownership.

    Passionate about software architecture and code quality, he never misses an opportunity to share best practices and tries to live up to his educational aspirations through public speaking and blogging.

  • K Adam White

    K Adam White (or “KAdam”) is a Senior Engineer at Human Made, where he leads teams building modern, enterprise-scale digital experiences on top of WordPress. He is a component maintainer for the WordPress REST API and a long-time open source contributor, and loves misappropriating what he knows about JavaScript and data visualization to make strange art.

    When he’s not online you can find him strolling New York City with a camera, enjoying an iced coffee with friends, or playing video games.

  • Katherine White

    Katherine White is a full-stack LAMP web developer who has been building websites since 1999. She’s worked in WordPress since 2003, Drupal since 2007, and has worked with numerous other content management systems over the years.

    As CTO at Kanopi Studios, she works to keep Kanopi excelling in all things technical. She’s a solutions architect for clients ranging from small businesses and high-growth startups to global Fortune 500 businesses. She loves helping clients see the relationship between their business goals and their technical solutions, and maximizing the impact and longevity of their sites within the constraints of their project.

    She’s a passionate advocate for accessibility, rewarding user experiences, and future-proof development methodologies.

    Naomi’s been working with WordPress as a professional developer since 2005, and you can currently find her over at gravityplus.pro where she specializes in using WordPress form builders to quickly deliver custom business functionality at a fraction of the cost.

    She contributes back to the WordPress project through the core code, documentation, free plugins, organizing the WordPress Gwinnett developer meetup, organizing WordCamp Atlanta, and speaking at WordCamps.
