Programming

Our Programming team is hard at work reading over the applications that were submitted during our Call for Speakers. We hope to have our speakers announced and our schedule put up in June.

Our Contributor Day team has a page explaining our November 3rd Contributor Day Programming. Whether you’ve been working with WordPress for 5 years or 5 days, there is a place for you at Contributor Day. We welcome the talents of designers, developers, content creators…everyone who used WordPress.

New this year, there will be workshops at different times on November 1 and 2 to welcome new contributors, and to introduce you to what contributing to WordPress is all about.

Kim Parsell Scholarship

Every year The WordPress Foundation offers one scholarship for a woman of any assigned sex who contributes to WordPress to attend WCUS. The woman must not have attended WCUS previously and has a financial need. The scholarship will cover the cost of the event ticket, round-trip flight, and lodging during the event. Applications for the Kim Parsell Memorial Scholarship will be open until Friday, May 31, 2019 at 12am Pacific. The application can be found here.
